Every child who enters a fish in the Destin Fishing Rodeo that weighs 1 lb. or more gets a rod and reel and a certificate suitable for framing!

  The 61st Annual Destin Fishing Rodeo Kid’s Kick-Off at A.J.'s Seafood and Oyster Bar. The event will have a carnival-like atmosphere centered on children! There will be wagon boat parade with prizes for all entries, clowns and games for all!

  Bring your child 12 and under to the Okaloosa Island Pier for a fun-filled morning of fishing on the pier. The round-up begins at 9:00 am and ends with lunch on the dock at noon. The cost is $10.00 per child and includes pier fee for the angler and his/her parents, a tee-shirt, bait, a rod and reel to keep and lunch.

The Destin Fishing Rodeo is all about encouraging parents to take their youngsters on a fishing adventure.
