Sponsorship Form
Host Sponsor
The Host Sponsor is the Weigh-In facility of the Annual Destin Fishing Rodeo. A Request for Proposal is mailed to any facility along the Destin Harbor interested in hosting the Rodeo every 2 years. The Destin Fishing Rodeo Board of Directors Site Selection Committee chooses the Host sponsor. The decision is based upon the facility meeting the criteria in the RFP and any monetary contributions included in the proposal. A 2-year sponsorship contract is required.
Kick-Off / Awards Dinner Sponsor
The Rodeo Kick-Off / Awards Sponsor is the Events Sponsor of the Annual Destin Fishing Rodeo.
The Rodeo Kick-Off is the annual dinner held the week before the Rodeo begins. The party hosts between 300 and 500 boat owners, captains, anglers and their families. Tickets are sold to the general public by the Rodeo.
The Awards Dinner is offered free-of-charge to the boat owners, captains and anglers that win prizes in the Rodeo. The dinner is held on the Saturday evening following the last day of the Rodeo. Attendance is generally around 300. Cost of this sponsorship is $5,000.00 per event.
Awards Sponsors
The Destin Fishing Rodeo offers prizes in 27 different divisions. Prizes are awarded daily, weekly and overall. Prizes are sponsored by division, or individually. Awards sponsorships are $250 – $5,000.
Rules Book Sponsors
The Destin Fishing Rodeo produces a soft-cover booklet each year with a list of the current tournament rules and prizes. Display advertising is available in this publication. There are 20,000 books produced and they are distributed throughout the local area as well as locations throughout the southeastern U.S. Advertising rates are from $200 to $2,000.
Miss Destin
The Destin Fishing Rodeo is the organization responsible for the Miss Destin Pageant each year. There are two levels of sponsorship available:
Scholarship Sponsorships:
- Contributions will provide cash scholarships that will be awarded to the scholarship recipient and the college that they will attend.
Pageant Sponsorships:
- This sponsorship will be used for production of the event, which includes several social events for the candidates and direct costs of the pageant.
